What Chiara loves

Spending time with her husband Michael, baking cakes for birthdays, singing, dancing, watching any TV show or movie with a good story, reading psychological thrillers, crafting, helping friends out with creative projects, OrangeTheory classes, getting out in nature, and cuddling her rescue cat, Sphinx.

Chiara Lafayette

Director of Interior Design

From an early age, Chiara loved perusing hardware stores, paging through wallpaper sample books, and rearranging her bedroom! But, while she was attending dance school in Chicago, an elective interior design class helped her realize her true calling.

Chiara helps our clients create beautiful, cohesive, and functional spaces. In her spare time, she enjoys creating art and photography. At work she loves thinking creatively and bringing unusual pieces together to form creative spaces. She also uses her passion for cooking and baking to design kitchens that make it easy and enjoyable to keep your hungry family fed and happy.

Chiara’s passion is finding the perfect product to bring an entire design together, and which her clients will truly enjoy, and she will search high and low to find it. Her goal is to create interior spaces that are inviting, fun, and which serve as a backdrop for lifelong memories. She designs spaces that not only look good but improve her clients everyday lives because it perfectly fits their needs.

While her favorite style is midcentury modern, Chiara is inspired by so many things, from her travels around the world to being immersed in art with a painter, metalsmith, writer, photographer, and glassblower in her close family. Her creative family helps her to think outside the box, find unusual connections, and see the world through different eyes.
